Colours chosen – Red (oxtail), Green (callaloo), and Ochre Yellow (corn and split peas).

The idea will be to make the can design noticeable from the traditional look of soup cans to aid in it
standing out on the shelf and gaining interest. Therefore, a more modern feel to the design is being
used (for example black as a backdrop to the art on the can, to help the images come to the forefront).
The design choice has given the effect of seeing the pot like a slice through it; seeing the soup contents
inside the boiling pot. This design allows the customer to know, at a glance, which soup they are
grabbing up without having to necessarily read the label. The border for the label also reiterates the
colour coding for each soup flavour.
